What are the mandatory documents needed for onboarding to Amazon?
Carriers will require below documents for initiating onboarding process with Amazon.
- GST registration Certificate (used for address verification)
- Permanent Account Number (PAN)
- FSSAI certificate/Registration Number/receipt of Application
- Certificate of incorporation/Partnership Deed/proof of registration/Limited Liability partnership agreement/MSME certificate /HUF Deed
What is FSSAI certificate and why is this needed?
FSSAI certificate is Food Safety and Standards Authority of India needed for transporting any kind of food. The standard certificate can be applied through the govt website (https://foscos.fssai.gov.in/) with category as transportation.
What type of equipment does Amazon work with?
We primarily work with standard box-trucks of varying capacity requirements ranging from 5Ft to 40 Ft with diesel, CNG & electric fuel types.
When can I start picking Loads?
Post the mandatory document submission, successful background verification, & contract completion - carrier will be onboarded to Relay portal from where they can start picking up the loads.
When will I get paid for completed loads?
Carrier will receive a draft invoice on relay portal on a bi-monthly frequency and will be paid as per aligned pay-terms with carrier’s submitted invoice details. Carriers can raise dispute on any of the invoice within 30 days and aligned disputed amount will be paid in a separate invoice post resolution as per pay-term.

Safety for your drivers, Amazon employees, and the public is Amazon’s first priority. Safety standards must be followed on the road, behind the wheel, in the yard, or in an Amazon facility. We expect you to report any unsafe acts or conditions immediately to Amazon management. There is nothing more important than your safety and the safety of others

Amazon uses a variety of tools, including our internal compliance teams and third-party compliance monitoring services, to validate and continually monitor carrier compliance.
